Completion
As of August 17, 2004, the volunteers in Corning have installed more than half
of the meter settings on their new water system. The distribution system has
been flushed, pressure tested and disinfected. New services are placed into
service as soon as installation is completed. The volunteers in Corning are
suggesting that they will have all services installed by Labor Day .. only 90
days from start to finish on this project. "Remarkable" is an understatement for
their accomplishing so much in so short a time.
