Installing the Cabinets
This project waited on cabinets for some time. When they and the counter tops arrived, volunteers made a quick morning's work out of installing them. Even though it appeared to be simple, everyone took a turn crawling into the cabinet to fasten the counter top to the cabinets.



Final Inspection
The final inspection and walk-through of the addition to the Fire Station in Waldo were conducted December 11, 2002. Those attending were Donnie Marrs, Mayor Albert Clow, sparkplug Mike Finkenbinder and KRWA Technical Assistant Steve Duryea. The Waldo Fire Station is the first KAN STEP building project other than a water system to be completed.
