About Membership

KRWA is a non-profit organization that provides training and on-site technical assistance to municipal water and wastewater systems. The Association additionally provides a wide range of legislative support for cities, water districts and sewer systems. Associate membership helps support the Association's programs.

KRWA will provide printed directories of rural water systems and member cities to Associate Members upon request. The listing includes addresses and phone numbers of four contacts in each system with a "Key person" also identified. Upon request and at no additional charge, KRWA will provide printed mail labels conditioned to your preference. That information is also available electronically or in hard copy report format.

Membership by cities and rural water districts and other water and wastewater utilities in KS Rural Water Association provides supplemental support for the various programs and training that KRWA provides. While various state and federal contracts provide the main funding sources for KRWA programs, membership dues are critical to ensuring that your Association remains financially viable. It takes vehicles, gas and tires to deliver on-site assistance. It takes postage and phones and administrative support to keep the office going. Membership dues pay for much of that.

Dues for municipal and rural water systems are $20 per year plus 90 cents per meter, with a maximum fee on 1000 meters.

See our current roster of members by clicking on the link above or also search the Directory of City/RWD Contacts.

Consultants such as engineering firms, accountants, financial institutions, manufacturers, service providers and vendors are invited to join as Associate Members. Only Associate members are invited to exhibit at the annual conference held the last week of March in Wichita. Only Associate Members are also welcome to advertise in The Kansas Lifeline magazine. Associate dues are $200 annually from date of receipt.
