Technical Assistance through Training

KRWA provides assistance in partnership with the Kansas Rural Water Finance Authority to public water systems planning to apply or in the process of obtaining a loan from the Kansas Public Water Supply Loan Fund.  The Kansas Dept. of Health & Environment contracts with the Kansas Rural Water Finance Authority for services including financial analysis of applicants. The Finance Authority subsequently contracts with Ranson Financial Consultants, LLC, Wichita and KRWA to provide training and technical assistance on financial issues and assistance on loan applications. The Kansas Rural Water Association also works in close partnership with USDA Rural Development and cities and rural water districts when applying for USDA loans and grants for water or wastewater utility improvements. KRWA can assist with Low - Moderate Income Surveys, Environmental Reviews, registration with federal agencies such as SAM.gov and assisting with the funding applications.
